The University Management led by the Deputy Vice-chancellor (Academic) Prof. I. M. Danjuma visited his Royal Highness, (Dr.) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, The Emir of Bauchi and also a Grand Patron of the ATBU National Alumni Association. Among the entourage are the Registrar, Dr. A. G. Hassan, Deputy Registrar in charge of Alumni Relations Division, Hajiya A`isha Idris,the University PRO, Mr Zailani Bappah, Dr. Babawuro Shuaibu, Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Musa, Dr. Abdulsalam Y. Gital, Mr. Ali Yakubu and other member of staff of the Alumni Relations Division.









Alumni Orientation

The Alumni Relations Division of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in collaboration with the National Alumni Association organized the first/ Maiden Alumni Orientation Lecture. The Orientation, which is first of its kind in the history of the University, recorded a huge success by having both Pro Chancellor and Vice Chancellor in attendance.



 Donation by Alumni

A Prominent ATBU Alumni, Amb. Dr. Hajiya A`isha Laraba Abdullahi donated a modern Public Convenience to the University Community. The Pro Chancellor in her remark, consider the donation as a mark of patriotism and urges other Alumni to emulate the gesture.




Student Visits Alumni Relations Division

The Executive officials of the Student Union Government of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University,  Man O War Community and students from the  Faculty of Management Sciences visited the Alumni Relations Division.The Alumni Relations Officer, Hajiya Aisha Idris welcomed them and briefed them on the purposes and function of the Division. In addition to that, she pinpoint some areas that students past and present could contribute to the growth and development of their alma mater.

Finally, she enjoined all of them to carry out the activities of their associations without prejudice to their primary objective for being in the University (studies) and to be good ambassadors of the University where ever they may find themselves.

ATBU Bauchi get full Accreditation

This is to inform the prospective applicants and general public that ATBU Bauchi now has full accreditation for all its courses. the three (3) courses that hitherto had denied accreditation namely, B. Tech. Accounting Technology, Microbiology and Environmental Management Technology were able to get full accreditation after the November 2018 Accreditation exercise by NUC.

This is to inform all fresh Students that have recently gained admission into the University through UTME (100 level) and Direct Entry (DE 200 level) for the 2018/2019 Academic Session, that the ATBU Portal is now open for them to commence their Online Registration from Tuesday 12th March, 2019 to 31stMarch, 2019.

All Fresh students are therefore strongly advised to generate REMITA via ATBU PAYMENT GATEWAY ATBU portal and make payments using any Bank of their choice. 


a)      Visit the ATBU website FRESHERS REGISTRATION STARTS HERE and log in with your JAMB Registration number, generate REMITA and proceed to any Bank of your choice to pay the Sum of Thirty ThreeThousand Five Hundred Naira Only (33,500.00) which covers registration fee and SUG Dues only (excluding accommodation).

b)     Medical Students are to pay Forty thousand five hundrednaira only (40,500.00).

c)      After payment, you are to register your courses online as approved by the Department and print the approved registration form for record purpose.

d)     All fresh students are requested to immediately downloadMedical Report Form from ATBU Portal and process before the resumption date (30THApril, 2019).

Geology Students qualified for AAPG IBA...

A team of students from Department of Applied Geology, ATBU Bauchi has qualified for the Imperial Barrel Award Competition African region semifinal.

The team which comprises two M.Sc. and one final year undergraduate student were able to qualified to the African region semifinal which held in Lagos on 26th of March, 2019. AAPG IBA is an annual program in which students are given geophysics and sometimes geochemistry data of a particular basin to work on as exploration Geo-scientists. This is the first term the department has participated in the competition in ten years since 2009.
