The Department of Geology, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi won the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS)' president best trainers award. The president of the society, professor Silas S. Dada presented the award at the just concluded NMGS international conference and exhibition which held in Enugu from 17th – 22nd March, 2019.
